How Kalendr protects your data

1. Who we are

Kalendr is the controller for customer data and a processor on behalf of shops that use our platform.

2. What we collect

• Contact details: name, email, optionally phone.
• Booking context: selected services, times, staff preferences.
• Usage data: sign-in events, favourites, device/browser metadata.

3. Why we collect it

We process data to fulfil bookings, send reminder emails, prevent fraud, and improve the product. Legal bases include performance of contract, legitimate interest, and explicit consent for marketing.

4. Sharing & retention

We only share data with trusted processors such as hosting vendors, email providers, and billing partners (e.g., GoCardless). Booking history is retained for as long as necessary for the shop’s records or legal obligations.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, data portability, or restriction of processing at any time. Withdraw marketing consent via the link in every email, or contact us directly to exercise your rights. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
